Applications are now open for The 2016 Bio-Engineering Symposium for high school sophomores/juniors. Applications are restricted to STC school nominated students (you gotta be from an STC school!) All students attend on a full scholarship (except for a $50 registration fee.)
This is an awe inspiring, college placement bolstering, pumped up way to spend three days of April school vacation at some of the world’s leading STEM sites in the Boston/Cambridge area. If you are interesting in bio-technology, engineering (environmental, mechanical, structural) or any other related STEM fields, this is for you. Only FOUR students per high school will be selected.
If you are interested, email STC or contact your guidance counselor. DO NOT SEND COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TO STC – YOU MUST BE NOMINATED BY YOUR SCHOOL.
2016 SITES INCLUDE…MWRA Deer Island, The Broad Institute, BIOGEN, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, the Muddy Water Restoration w/Army Corps of Engineers (sites to be finalized…)
Our fabulous partner, SAME and the STC staff cannot wait to meet our new symposium students in April!
